Winning Trainer: Lucy Yeomans

On training for Tony Ottobre and what the win means:"That's the great thing about training for Tony, he knows these horses so well.

"I would think I know her better than anyone, but I think Tony might rival me for that.

"I can't believe it. There's too many people to thank. Obviously, Tony, Elise, who's my right-hand girl, just turned this horse out in immaculate condition today.

"It's actually been a blessing. I've been riding all my own track work, and I've been absolutely cooking myself overthinking everything, but I galloped this horse on Tuesday and she absolutely flew.

"I actually had my partner Blake (Shinn) there clocking me and the tracker just said her recovery was better than ever.

"It's just all fallen into place today. She finally drew a gate, but big thanks to Tony, big thanks to Elise. My vet Chas, my Farrier, John and James, and most of all, thanks to Fox and my partner Blake as well who's done a lot of work on this horse.

"Also, I must mention Declan Bates. He's really helped make this horse what she is as well.

Thoughts during the run: "I was a little worried early, I thought maybe Tom was just using her up a little, but he knows this horse and he's sort of done all his form and knew the map.

"He had to use it only for probably 100 or 200 metres and then he let her settle, he wanted it late. He was sort of cluttered up, and Tom and Fox were both very brave, they sort of paved their own path, and she's just finally shown today what we've always known she can do."

On winning a Stakes race: "Just to get a Stakes winner, I think it's my 17th runner, I've had four winners, they've all been for Tony Ottobre and his team, so I'm just incredibly grateful and I just think four-or-five-year-old me would be really proud."

Off to Magic Millions?: "She's was a very valuable mare before this, but she's worth even more now, so we're not going to force anything. We'll just let her get home, let the dust settle, and if she's pulled up well, there's a flight for her on Tuesday, but no pressure. She's worth more than one race."

Winning Jockey: Tom Stockdale

On teaming with Lucy and the Ottobres: "That's my first winner for Tony and Lynn, and for Lucy, so it's great to be associated with great people and great horse people for that matter.

"Lucy's done a tremendous job in prepping the horse up today, she had a tough run at The Supernova and to be freshened up like that and show a really slick turn of foot, it's just a credit to her."

Tactics and how the race panned out: "They wanted to be a little bit more forward today, which makes sense with how the track's been playing.

"She was a little bit strong in my hands down the hill, but I just needed clear air on her. I felt once we're going to get a bit of clear air she was going to let rip and she did so accordingly."
