Lot 124 was the first secured by the Club. The attractive son of triple Sha Tin Group 1 winner Maurice was acquired for AU$250,000, while the juvenile's dam, Boomnova, won seven times from 20 starts for career earnings in excess of AU$500,000.

Lot 242 is a bay son of Toronado, who was bought for AU$400,000, and the Club quickly purchased a second colt by the sire for AU$225,000 as Lot 264. Toronado is a prolific sire in Hong Kong; among his leading progeny are seven-time winners Helios Express and Victor The Winner, as well as leading Four-Year-Old Classic Series contender and five-time winner from eight appearances, Little Paradise.

Lot 410 is a bay colt by Zoustar. The youngster was the Club's highest-priced purchase at AU$625,000. Zoustar is renowned in Hong Kong as the sire of Group 3 winners Patch Of Theta – a Hong Kong International Sale graduate – and Stellar Express.

Lot 488 is a brown colt by Hellbent, secured for AU$340,000. Hellbent is proving successful as a sire in Hong Kong, spearheaded by the heroics of current Four-Year-Old Classic Series prospect, Invincible Ibis, who is a four-time Sha Tin winner.
