Winning Trainer: Joe Pride

On the horse: "It's pretty amazing, he's done an incredible job this horse the last sort of six months, he's exceeded all expectations."

On the win: "On today's win beating a Group 1 winner here at the track and distance in Gringotts is a pretty fair effort."

Where to next: "The Big Dance is next on the agenda and he's obviously starting to creep up there in the weights, but it didn't seem to worry him today and nor did the barrier."

On going to the Big Dance/mile: "I don't think it's a problem for him, I think his best distance is around the mile."

"He seems to be settling really well in his races at the moment, he goes on wet or dry, he really is bombproof."

Winning Jockey: Adam Hyeronimus

On the connection with the horse: "I think I first rode him in January this year, and it's now my sixth win on him, we've won a few Stakes races now, he just keeps delivering."

"He came through the grades through the benchmark system. Joe did a great job bringing him through and using each race as a stepping stone and he just keeps improving, especially since going to Stakes company."

On the horse: "It makes things very easy for me, he jumps well, puts himself in a nice position, and tries hard."

On the run: "I ended up in a nice spot early and then obviously Rachel rolled on to sort of sit outside the leader which left me exposed, which wasn't ideal, but the speed must have come out of the race a little bit because Zac was on heels and was forced to take up that three-wide position. I was able to come back and get on the back of him and find that cover again and let my horse travel nicely into the straight."

Beaten Jockeys:

Nash Rawiller (Gringotts): "Very proud of him. He went great. Jumped very well. No pressure for the first 300m and the girls must have started to get onto that half way through the race. They've taken off and took my advantage away from me a touch. He fought right to the post. A great return."

Alysha Collett (Waterford): "Beautiful trip in transit. Just failed to finish that last little bit."

Zac Lloyd (Airman): "He went fantastic. He is a thinker. Just have to get him confidence throughout the race. Coming into the straight I thought he was going to be right in the finish but he hit the skids when he got a bit tired late. Good effort."

Josh Parr (Bosustow): "Had to absorb too much pressure early and found him one paced late."

Dylan Gibbons (Osipenko): "Actually don't mind the way he is going. Just wanting a bit further now."

Jay Ford (Tavi Time): "Another really good run from him. He is stepping it up. Improvement off his first up run and he'll improve again into the Big Dance."

Kerrin McEvoy (Willydoit): "He is a lovely big horse. He ran well. Short of his best trip so there is improvement to come after today's first up run."

Tyler Schiller (Democracy Manifest): "I thought he was good. Just had to use him a bit earlier and took away from his finish."

Tim Clark (General Salute): "He ran fantastic. He is going really well this prep."

Jason Collett (Firestorm): "Made some ground late but too far off them."

Winona Costin (Coastwatch): "A good run. Just went back and got into a good rhythm. Hit the line really nicely late."

Ashley Morgan (Mchale): "He was very good for a long way. Just the while between runs probably found him out. Doing well."

Braith Nock (The Inflictor): "He slipped in the back end and didn't begin as well then cut out early. Never really travelled that strong but I thought he finished off OK."

Rachel King (Oh Diamond Lil): "Probably not quiet herself today. Had to do a bit of work and didn't finish off."

Andrew Adkins (Jojo Was A Man): "Good return from him off a long time off. He chased to the line nicely. He'll come on from the run."

Molly Bourke (Felix Majestic): "Had to do a bit of work early to get across into a spot. A bit disappointing late."
