"I was surprised to see her so handy in the run, I had thought she might settle fifth or sixth. That was plan A because we didn't want to be too far back on the heavy track. She was very tough in the end, her normal pattern is to get back and run on later so she's done a really good job."

"That's why you put the good jockeys on, because they get it right more often than not. He's won Group 1s so he knows what he's doing. He was adamant he didn't want to be too far back so we left it up to him. She jumped well which was good because if she missed the start, we knew we were in a spot of bother."

Next plans: "She'll run in the three-year-old race over 1400 metres [the Fred Best], then we'll see from there. If she's good enough, the Tatts Tiara would obviously be a lovely option."
