We've got the $300,000 Gateway and a trio of Listed races at Eagle Farm this weekend and we've landed on a couple of best bets for the deep ten-race card.
Our top selection comes up in race four in the form of the Yes Yes Yes gelding Yoyo Yeezy out of the Matthew Hoysted barn.
This four-year-old was well found when facing the starter for the first time but let supporters down with an average performance at Doomben on that occasion. He then franked the market confidence with a dominant victory over Saturday's course and distance before being tipped out for further time to furnish.
Has since revved up for this with a recent trial win and winning hoop Damien Thornton reunites. Drawn to get a cosy run in transit from gate two and can return a winner without surprising.
Our value play of the day is one for the Dolly Parton fans. We tipped Miss Joelene each-way last time out and if I told you she was beaten only a long-neck you'd have thought we would've had a collect. Alas, the judge found her to have run fourth leaving our wallets empty.
She lines up in one of the Listed features, the $160,000 Tails Stakes, and this Queensland Oaks placegetter should be cherry-ripe now third run back. She'll probably get back from the wide draw but watch for her flashing home late in the piece.
We'll butter her up again and the $10W and $3.30P currently on offer looks a viable place heavy type wager.
