Winning Trainer: Rob Heathcote

"Tommy said the other day when Matt Dunn's horse (Fukubana) beat him that he felt he had his measure but his wheel's spun, but today on that sand based track, he got traction and went away.

"He's super and Justin Anderson, my trackwork rider, loves him. He got off him on Tuesday and said they won't beat him this time."

Winning Jockey: Tommy Berry

"I got a good feel of him the other day. I was confident I was on the winner on the corner but Fukubana relished the conditions a bit better than we did.

"I think he enjoyed being on the big track as well, being able to balance up. I sat on him for quite a while and he gained confidence the more I had confidence in him.

"We expected to be a bit closer in the run but there was a bit of a charge to that first corner which I didn't expect. When you draw good barriers you've got options and we were able to take advantage of that."
