"Second for the week and I was in Sydney on Saturday and I can't enjoy this one, but you never quite like to win under those circumstances with the fall in the race, so I just hope Blake and all the team are okay and the horse, first and foremost.
Paid well: "Well she was over the odds, I thought; she was very good in her last two runs. All of us know that Sydney form is stronger form when you come down here, and every day it plays that way."
"It was a good ride by Kerrin McEvoy, a great day for the family too. She's a stakes winner already, and I was surprised she went off at those odds. Of course, Victorian bred, so we can't claim it all, and Kiwi owned, so it's very much an Australasian flavour to this horse."
"She's a good horse, she's underrated, and she came in great form; she was fit. It was a good ride from Kerrin, she had an awkward gate, and halfway through the run, I wasn't necessarily happy, but I think she probably got to the right part of the track and it worked out well."
Slowly with her: "I guess it's about building up confidence, building up fitness, and she came in at 1400.
"We debated whether we would run from a really wide gate and wet track, but she was tough at the end and I think that really counted. She was under a ride at the 500, but just kept on giving and giving and giving."
"She's a good mare; she's won 6 from 10, I think, now. You don't win like that with that percentage, unless you've got a fair bit of ticker."
"I will be back on Thursday and Saturday, I'm sure there'll be a lot more payback; I'm used to it."
Winning Jockey: Kerrin McEvoy
"Firstly I hope Blake Shinn is ok.
"Nice to get on the board. She's a mare that is in really good form. I was lucky enough to team up with her after J-Mac won on her. I won a little midweek race at Warwick Farm and she's just very genuine.
"I offset that wide gate, went forward and I knew that Jamie (Melham on Fancify) would take me across and I'd slot in behind three-wide with a bit of cover. I knew then once I got her relaxed after furlong-and-a-half that she'd have her finish and that is exactly what she showed me."
"Just had the offset in the barrier, but we were able to get into a bit of a line with some cover which was crucial, and she was very game. Under some riding, she picked up and hit the line, so lovely to get her home here today.
"It worked out perfectly and she's a very game mare, so it's lovely to be able to get her home."
"I could hear something coming on my right but full credit to her. Bjorn was really happy and said that she'd travelled down really well".
"She's very genuine and honest and got her toe in the ground. It is nice to get on the board.
"Full credit to Bjorn and his team; she travelled down here in really good order, she was great going to the start and I knew she was on song."
