Winning Trainer: Matt Laurie

On the win: "I was actually watching out the back, so it was a good start."

"Jamie and I spoke earlier today, and we thought there were four or five of them that would rush forward. So it was probably a matter of letting her find her feet. You can see she was travelling very well, and fortunately she was able to navigate to the right path. So, great result."

Winning Jockey: Jamie Mott

How it unfolded: "I was confident there would be good speed in the race, and she began nicely. I just let the speed go, and they really did inject some speed and kept it up the whole way.

"So, I was actually nearly off the bridle there for a while, but I just trusted her. I had an opportunity to probably go around them at the half mile if I wanted to, but I thought I'd stay on the back of Willow and wait for the gap, and lucky enough, the gap came, and she was full of running."

"About the 500 (metres), she travelled beautifully from there, but kind of dropped it from about the 900. But, once I decided to stay in and wait for some luck, she really appreciated that and just got extra time to travel."

"She won really well. She's got a good form record. But I think definitely tonight's her best performance."
