"He's such a lovely horse, really clean-winded. He's run on a few wet tracks which haven't really suited him, but we've always been confident that he would handle the conditions. I was more worried about his fitness coming here today, but the way he finished that was the least of my worries."

Low weight: "That was a big asset. He was well ridden by Tyler, when he got shuffled back around the 700-metre mark, I got a bit worried about where he would end up. Fortunately he was going well enough that he could switch back to the inside. He darted through and he sustained the gallop right through the line. "

Winning Jockey: Tyler Schiller

"We got all the breaks when we needed them, which doesn't happen all that often. He's a nice horse and I thought he did a great job in the end."

"It's racing pretty fairly, despite being so wet. The outside might be a bit better than the fence, so I think you'll see jockeys try to get off later in the day. But having said that, we switched back to the fence and to his credit he was too strong for them in the end. If we'd got the run on the outside we might have won by more, but in the end it didn't matter."
