Winning Trainer: Anthony & Sam Freedman (rep by Billie Rodda interviewed)

Tactics: "We knew coming here today it was going to be a step up in grade, but we just wanted to relay the same tactics as last start and he's managed to do it pretty much exactly the same way.

"Instructions were to possibly be one out one back, but when he probably didn't jump as quick as the others, they kicked up on his inside, he had to come back a little bit further then we'd hoped but he's managed to make a soaring run down the outside and get the win, so it doesn't matter."

Winning Jockey: Jamie Mott

Difference to last time he rode him: "Probably more so fitness. The day I rode him Sam said he might need it, and it was a Pakenham, which is obviously a testing truck. He was there to win and just peaked the last bit, but only went down narrowly.

"I'm not sure at his next run, he looked a little bit below par, but was back in a really good form last start and continued on today."

On the horse and how gangly he can be: "He's just big and awkward and he's done it from basically his first start. Hopefully eventually he can iron that out the more racing he has.

"But you've got to be mindful putting pressure on him around the corner, because from the six or 700 I'm already on one reign.

"It's awkward without putting any pressure on and I was just mindful to just say wait until he balances up, and when he does balance up, he does get out a little bit. He's just a big baby but he's got good ability and I think he may stretch further as well."
