RICHMOND v WEST COAST
Sunday 11 May @ MCG
Well this one won't get the excitement factors flowing early on a Sunday. There might be some free tickets going if you are interested.
That MCG won't see much in terms of the best talents around given it is 16th against 18th. The issue will be will it be entertaining?
Richmond had a bit of a go for a while against the Hawks but no goals until later in Q2 won't scare many sides. It was only into the second half that the floodgates broadened.
| Match | Richmond | West Coast | Ground |
| Last time they met | 10.10 [70] | 16.13 [109] | Optus |
| Last 10 matches | 7 wins | 3 wins | |
| Notes | Margin has been basically 6+ goal margins in the last 5 clashes. | ||
| Easily the two lowest % in the competition. | |||
At the very least the Eagles hit the front around the middle of the game and it was only due to a huge second half onslaught by the Demons that it got away.
They can't seem to put four quarters together because of the depth, or lack thereof, in the squad.
Back at the MCG, reckon Richmond is a good hope here. Hard to believe they are as short as they are but it will give the tiger army a reason to cheer.
Match Selection: Richmond by 21 points
