What Essendon dished up at their home ground, even if not a home game, was pretty woeful.

They were never in it after 10 minutes. It wasn't even that they didn't have a big go. It was that they were totally outclassed.

Which does seem weird considering the Bombers are a win out of the Eight with a game in hand – albeit against the Gold Coast.
