What do we have here? The Bulldogs have seemingly been overcoming hurdles for some time and eventually it caught up.

And besides the late fade out on Anzac Day, Essendon has been winning – if not being overly impressive.

For the Bombers, their depth is continually being tested. Injuries are an issue for every side but those who aren't atop the tree can afford it least.

You would think in these conditions that would be possible but so to for a better side than most of those recently met.

An upset is not hopeless but the Bulldogs should be too classy.
