Collingwood are good value for second spot on the ladder. Suspect they are the best side in it and while that never hands you the crown, it will take you a long way – especially with the luxuries of home ground.
To go to Perth, undermanned by your own decisions and injury, and beat a desperate side means things are working in all areas.
Fremantle had every reason to win last week and yet it was the clinical nature of the Pies that saw them trek home with 4 points. A nice long break is almost a bye these days.

You had to like the marking of Riley Thilthorpe. Contested clunking is barely a thing any more.
