WAGGA: RACE 3 @ 11:00 AM

PRIDE OF JEZZA (7) has returned in great order this campaign and went better than the last run suggests in town, working home nicely from an awkward spot. His first three runs of the prep were strong efforts here, producing two wins. Ticking along superbly and should relish the rise to 2000m. Leading player. SEA STRIKE (6) hasn't threatened in his two runs back but has been tackling stiffer opposition. Much better placed this time and should be nearing a peak third-up. Gets in low at the weights and reunites with winning hoop. Have to take seriously. DYNAMIC ONE (4) was back near his best last time when a close third at Cowra. Has been mixing his form this prep but gets a key booking in McDougall from a handy draw and backs up quickly. Genuine hope if he's present on-song. GATCHAN (5) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when sixth, over 2400m at Kembla Grange. Will find this a bit easier and will be looking to settle much closer to the action this time.
SELECTIONS: Pride Of Jezza to win.

WARWICK FARM: RACE 2 @ 2:05

PMFAIRWAY TO HEAVEN (1) returns for his second campaign. Raced handy on debut when a fighting third over 1100m at Randwick Kensington on the soft (6) track last July. Primed for this with the two good trials and looks the one to beat. FARFETCHED (2) went out hard on debut before fading late when a game second over 1000m at Randwick Kensington. Fitter now and sure to be thereabouts. SPHERE (10) well bred filly who resumed with a solid third over 1250m at Canterbury. Cross-over nose band comes off and will be strong late. RAVE ABOUT IT (9) is a So You Think filly on debut for the Pride camp. Has shown enough in her trials to suggest she can make her presence felt.
SELECTIONS: Fairway To Heaven can return a winner.

HANGING ROCK: RACE 6 @ 4:26 PM

HIS FINEST HOUR (6) is a big threat building on his two narrow defeats at Flemington. Peaking now and the 1800m looks perfect for him now. Looks the one to beat. FEARGAL (8) can control the race from the handy barrier and has missed narrowly at Warrnambool his last two. He's sure to take pegging back. FRIDAY AT FIVE (9) has an awkward barrier but has been threatening a win and sits down in the weights. Watch for her taking strongest strides late. SING FOR PEACE (4) returns for the Paynes and should be forward enough following plenty of lead-up work. This is short of his best but it's a good starting point.
SELECTIONS: His Finest Hour best of the day.

GEELONG: RACE 8 @ 5:30 PM

HOT DIGITY BOOM (1) looks well placed third up. Both runs back have been good, finishing fourth in each, both in stronger races than this. He got home fairly behind Porter who pinched a big lead at Flemington last time, in the market there. Comes back a notch now and should go close. ASAKURA (11) is lightly raced and won his maiden well enough fresh at Terang. He could go on with it. ZORRO'S FLIGHT (9) has been let up since a solid run fresh at Caulfield Heath. More ground here suits and his best is absolutely good enough. CENTENNIAL PARK (2) has been freshened after a disappointing run up north and has had a change of scenery. Jumped out well for the new stable and is drawn to advantage. Have to keep very safe.
SELECTIONS: Hot Digity Boom to win.

KILCOY: RACE 4 @ 1:53 PM

Scratchings have taken a few of the better chances out. Hard to go past COOL PANELS (7) now who is fitter for two runs in. Was a fresh-up winner then a solid fourth in what has proven a hot form race. Fitter again and worth noting is unbeaten here from two tries at the distance. Hard to beat. MR WANDJI (5) has been freshened since a last start win at Chinchilla. This tougher but going well and looks a leading chance again. BULSARA (2) has a big weight but senior rider goes aboard and among the chances. LOOSE UNIT (4) is fitter for two runs back and placed last time, albeit in easier. Has won third-up and should be at top now.
SELECTIONS: Stay with Cool Panels.

BUNBURY: RACE 6 @ 7:53 PM

GALWAY SHAWL (2) won 3 from 4 in her debut campaign and doesn't look to have lost a yard judging by her recent trial. She's unbeaten at this course and distance and the wide draw doesn't look an issue with her adaptability. Can pick up from where she left off. LOST GRAVITY (1) missed over this trip at Ascot first-up and will find this much easier than the race he was in there. Catarino claims 3kg now and he draws to be in contention. Can improve on a sub-par performance first-up. HEZANGELIC (4) can roll forward from the draw and set the tempo under the 4kg claimer. He's proving tough to run down in recent events and now at his peak fitness and with no weight on his back, it may be his time to strike. DESERT LIFE (8) can resume on a positive note with the blinkers being applied. ZOUBOLTZ (5) trialled nicely coming in and won't be far away.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Galway Shawl.
