Today’s Horse Racing Tips - 24th January 2026
Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for January 24.
Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Randwick, Caulfield, Ascot and Sunshine Coast.
RANDWICK: RACE 4 @ 2:20 PM
BELLA CORAZON (8) can stalk the good tempo today and comes here in peak condition. Slow into stride and returned slick closing splits with a slashing third over 1300m at Wyong. Will race closer today from the good gate and prove hard to hold out. LOVING (4) progressing well through his grades this time in and gives every indication of running a strong 1400m. Set a fast tempo early and did well to grip on late when fourth to Sequista over 1300m at Wyong. Has a few options from the draw with race fitness on his side. Each way. PRETTY POWERFUL (1) has returned a more genuine commodity this prep and back in class with Grima's claim. Third-up now and look for him charging late. CINSAULT (5) tough first-up winner at Canterbury, then jumped in class and trip with a respectable fourth over 1400m at this track. Can get cover from the gate and has further improvement to come.
SELECTIONS: Bella Corazon finds her race.

CAULFIELD: RACE 4 @ 12:50 PM
CONCHIERO (11) resumes. His form tapered off at the end of last campaign but the early runs held a lot of merit, winning a couple on the bounce before being tested in better company. First up at 1400m here suits and he can look to cross early. SUPERCILIOUS (14) has hit the line well in two runs back, the latest in Listed company at Geelong. Up to 1400m can suit now and she'll be hard to hold out. EVERAIN (13) resumes. He won two on the bounce to start last campaign, tested in good company thereafter. Wary here from a soft draw. LE FERRARI (1) is struggling to win but was good last time and has claims.
SELECTIONS: Conchiero to win.
ASCOT: RACE 6 @ 4:18 PM
Exciting 3YO HEEZA PHOENIX (6) looks to punch his ticket to Flemington. He's fresh here off 63 days but did have a racecourse gallop here last week. Has the speed to roll across from out wide and it's easy to think there's still improvement to come. Short of his best trip, but may just be too classy. PROSPECTOR'S PICK (7) got back to winning ways last start when scoring by 0.4L at this track and trip. He steps back up in grade, but he's much better suited at 1200m and CJP sticks with him. Needs some luck from the draw, but can repeat the dose if luck comes his way. RICHANCO (1) comes back from the Miss Andretti where he wasn't beaten far. Blinkers go on first time today and the claim of Nottle comes in handy. Ticks a few boxes and a forward showing is expected. ELITE MISSILE (3) boasts a strong fresh record and looks forward enough to run well fresh. LET'S TALK (10) rates highly on the last start win and can make his presence felt in this tougher company.
SELECTIONS: Heeza Phoenix can return with a bang.
SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 1 @ 12:18 PM
STAR OF JAMAICA (1) firmed to start at $2.25 on debut last start at Eagle Farm but after leading for the judge was no match for Dream Roca. Kept fresh by the in-form Munce stable since that outing six weeks ago. Subsequent trial winner who should be too good for these. CAUSE SHE CAN (6) led from barrier rise to record a narrow win on debut over this trip at Toowoomba three weeks ago. Taking on a tougher assignment here but from gate one she gets all the favours and should be there at the business end. ON THE CLOCK (5) is a Spirit Of Boom first starter for local trainer Liam Birchley. Easily took out a recent Eagle Farm trial so he looks above average. DUSTEE (3) from the Price/Kent yard debuts. Ran a better trial when last produced at Warwick Farm on 9 January. Cannot be underestimated. Yes Yes Yes debutant CHAYSE 'N' POP (2) has trialled three times since mid-December so he is certainly fit enough if good enough.
SELECTIONS: Star Of Jamaica looks a nice bet to launch the program.
