「艾斯提加布」退役

去年金拖鞋大赛的冠军「艾斯提加布」退役，接下来将投入繁殖之用。

在2018年的金拖鞋大赛上以0.2马位之先险胜的「艾斯提加布」 已经结束竞速生涯，今年春季将开始在牧场做繁殖母马。

第一季里「艾斯提加布」将和哪一匹种公马配种，其幕后团队还未作出决定。

这匹刚满四岁的母马父系为澳洲种马王「斯尼策尔」，母系为一级赛冠军「反应」，血统非常优良，而它在赛场的表现也没有辜负自己的血脉。

服役期间共7次上阵，「艾斯提加布」5次跑入了三甲，3次夺得了冠军，收获了超250万澳元的赛事奖金。

2017年时参加周岁马拍卖会，「艾斯提加布」的成交价为170万澳元。

新南威尔士州猎人谷的基奇温山希尔斯育马场（Kitchwin Hills Stud）日前传出了噩耗，其奠基种公马「丹影」在与病痛进行长期抗争后，最终离开了人世，享年18岁。

这匹父系为「丹山」的种公马出自一级赛冠军「细微机会」，曾在服役时胜出过三级赛明朝锦标赛。

退役之后，「丹影」共配种了14季。目前它参加过比赛的子嗣有504匹，有332匹夺得过冠军。

在这332匹冠军子嗣中，有10匹为锦标赛冠军，其中包括了一级赛冠军「赤色追踪者」、「飞驰桃金娘」、「薛尔斯奎」以及「光中暗影」。
