「旋律美女」开始备战新赛季

结束表现不佳的三岁赛季后，新西兰一级赛冠军「旋律美女」已经开始备战新赛季，于昨日在蒂拉帕赛马场赢下一场试闸。

「旋律美女」曾在雅华潘尼登顶2017年的一级赛种马锦标赛，并在布里斯班胜出二级赛BRC种马锦标赛。

驯马师杰米•理查兹承认，该小雌马在三岁赛季的表现是令人失望的，在悉尼的妙手锦标赛和包围锦标赛上均没能跑进三甲。

理查兹表示对「旋律美女」非常满意，期待它的四岁赛季，并希望它在新赛季能够卷土重来，现阶段的计划是在三周后参加蒂特科赛马场的试闸，新赛季的首战定为福克斯大桥赛，之后若一切顺利，会出战哈斯廷斯。

另外，剑桥育马场的潜力种公马「烈火岁月」在昨日的900米试跑上不太适应赛道情况，4匹赛驹参加，它在最后一个过线，将和厩伴「旋律美女」一起参加三周后的试闸赛。

理查兹表示，「烈火岁月」在四岁赛季会继续参加一些更短途程的赛事。

它此前夺冠一级赛莱文经典赛（1600米），秋季征程在悉尼的兰德威克坚尼赛（1600米）和罗斯希尔坚尼赛（2000米）上未跑进三甲。
